  1. Hi Lynsey, just found your blog for the first time and it’s BRILLIANT! Your reviews are insightful and your blog, aesthetically, is lovely. I work in PR for a range of children’s publishers – could I drop you a line about an MG book I’m working on right now that I think might interest you? Best, Georgia

    1. Of course Georgia. Thanks for your kind words about my blog. My email address can be found in the contact tab

  2. Hi Lynsey – great blog! I’m the author of scores of fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults, just taking my first steps into YA with my new novel, ‘Drift.’ It comes out on September 10th to mark World Suicide Prevention Day, which also happens to be 40 years almost to the day since my own sister’s death by suicide. I wonder if you might consider reviewing it? I’d have emailed you, for preference, but can’t for the life of me find your email address – apologies for that!

    1. Hey Jenny. I would be more than happy to review your book. Drop me an email at brennanlynsey@hotmail.com. I have now added this to my contact page as it seemed to have disappeared. Thanks for the heads up 🙂

  3. Hi Lynsey,

Your blog is pretty and insightful! Rare to find both in one place!

  4. Hi,

I visit your blogs and read some parts of it and thought you made some really great points. If you have a chance, please read and review my book if you are interested, titled ” Enter The Monkey”. Enter The Monkey is an exquisitely and often painfully soul-baring true life story. I think it might be of interest to your readers. If you do please let me know.

  5. Hi Lynsey. Love the blog. It’s the first one I’ve read I think that sounds friendly! Naturally I would love you to read my book. It’s a fantasy adventure that I wrote for my youngest daughter. The sequel is with the publishers and should be out by March 2017. The trailer is a tad fluffy and the book way more adventurous. https://youtu.be/FtXvEuHkJLE I’d be happy to send you a hard copy if you are interested. It is aimed at 8 to 80 year olds and I have become a bit addicted to going around to schools and doing a story games hour and listening to children make themselves giggle with word games and story creation games. (not famous!)

  6. Hi David. Thank you for your kind words
Drop me an email at brennanlynsey@hotmail.com and I’ll do my best to share your book with my class!

  7. Hi Lynsey,
I came across your blog via the book bloggers list, and I was wondering if you would be interested in receiving a copy of my newly released poetry book, The Fate of Lovers, in exchange for a review?

This poetry collection explores the themes of love, life, loss and abuse, and comprises of 121 pieces of poetry and prose. It is a fairly quick read, roughly 30 minutes give or take, and if you are interested, I would really appreciate it.

I have it available in mobi and PDF format, but I can do other formats if preferred.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

    Thanks in advance,
